The DZahr MODELS Photo Session is a carefully orchestrated event that enables want-to-be models the opportunity to explore the creative and commercial application of developing the LOOK and FEEL of a tear sheet for their portfolios.
Jean-Pierre D'Zahr meets with each model for a consultation and planning of the model's photo session to enable the model to develop the right sellable qualities needed in packaging their portfolios. Everything from wardrobe consultation to even getting a wardrobe assistant in acquiring the best outfits for the event is all taken into consideration before any photo session.
Once the model arrives at the studio Jean-Pierre has his well known Los Angeles experienced makeup artist polish the features of the model into perfection before facing the camera. We also style the model's hair to achieve different looks and accompany the wardrobe for each look. In some cases models are styled by well known Hair Salon owners or specialists that allow for a creative style not normally seen.
The photo sessions can take anywhere from 4 hours to a full day so the models need to be completely rested to be able to endure the full event of the studio session.
While many of the models coming to the studio spend anywhere from $3,000 to $5,000 for the event of this portfolio photo session, the minimum requirement to book a photo session is only $199.

All photo sessions include several changes of clothes, makeup application for each outfit, changes of hair styling for each outfit, and changes of studio lighting for head shots, 3/4 length shots, full length shots which are shot both in color and/or black and white.
Models are photographed digitally so that the proofing of all shots can be viewed online via a print order shopping cart which makes the selection process simplified and can be viewed whenever and for however much time is needed to make the final print selections.
All photo sessions include one 8 X 10" print per outfit that is booked, and additional prints are then available for purchase. The images are then master printed by Jean-Pierre who applies his digital magic and expertise to the darkroom process of the final images.
All photo session also include a Web Folio hosted for 1 year on the DzahrPhoto.com web site which will show a selection of the best shots from the models photo session. The Web Folio allows for immediate access for modeling agents and agencies from around the world to review the models' portfolio.
